Critics found that the Tacoma’s base engine, a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder, is unimpressive and feels underpowered. The Tacoma also has decent handling and responsive handling, but the ride quality was stiff. The bed of the pickup truck is available with either a 5-foot or a 6-foot-2-inch bed.
