With Customer Mobility Assistance, Honda will reimburse up to $1,000 for expenses incurred when the purchase and installation of adaptive vehicle equipment in any purchased or leased Honda vehicle. However, only the original vehicle owner is entitled to reimbursement and the modifications must be made for the owner or a member of their immediate family.
Qualifying adaptive equipment is the installation of equipment that provides the disabled user-convenient access to the vehicle and/or the ability to drive the vehicle. when looking to have it installed, it needs to be within the time and mileage limits of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. To receive the reimbursement, there must be a prescription or medical documentation shown (wheelchairs, scooter hoists, and ramps do not require a prescription).
